Description
Hand Painted Ceramic Picture Tile of a traditional fishing boat, moored at the quayside in Kinlochbervie in the north-west of Scotland.
This painting depicts a typical Scottish Creel Boat used mainly to catch lobsters and crabs. The life of the fishermen of Northern Scotland is hard, facing the dangers of The Minch, the channel between the west coast and the Outer Hebrides, well known for its wild stormy seas and bitterly cold wind. Here the boat is seen at rest alongside the harbour wall.
This decorative hand painted tile is supplied in a presentation box; the ceramic tile has a black felt backing and a hook to allow it to be easily wall mounted.
Size 11″ x 14″
